Mega Man X (after X4 stylized as Megaman X), known in Japan as Rockman X (ロックマンX, Rokkuman Ekkusu), is a Mega Man series of platform games released by Capcom. It was initially released on December 17, 1993 in Japan (January 1994 in North America) on the Super NES/Super Famicom and spawned sequels on several systems, most of which were later ported to the PC platform. The plot is a continuation of the preceding series, Mega Man. The game play introduced new elements to the Mega Man Franchise including the ability to dash and climb walls. The first six games in the series were compiled in the anthology Mega Man X Collection.

Mega Man X2, known as Rockman X2 (ロックマンX2) in Japan, is a video game developed by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The game was released in Japan on December 16, 1994 and in North America and PAL regions in 1995. It is the direct sequel to Mega Man X, released one year prior. Mega Man X2 takes place in the near future in which humans try to peacefully coexist with intelligent robots called "Reploids", with some of the Reploids going "Maverick" and threatening daily life. The plot follows the android protagonist X, a "Maverick Hunter" who has saved humanity from the evil Sigma six months earlier. A trio of Mavericks calling themselves the "X-Hunters" has arisen, intent on destroying X by luring him with bodyparts of his comrade Zero, who died in the conflict with Sigma. Mega Man X2 features much of the same action-platforming elements as the first installment of the series, following the traditional gameplay of the original Mega Man series. The player is tasked with completing a series of stages by destroying enemies, gaining various power-ups, and winning the special weapon of each stage's boss. Like the first Mega Man X, this game lets the player dash, scale walls, and obtain access to special abilities via optional pieces of armor. Mega Man X2 is graphically similar to its predecessor as well, but Capcom included the Cx4 in-cartridge enhancement chip to allow for some 3D wireframe effects. The development team was instructed to utilize this technology as much as possible when working on the game. The presentation and gameplay of Mega Man X2 have earned the game a mostly positive critical reception. However, reviewers were dismayed by the lack of changes from the original Mega Man X. Mega Man X2 was included in the Mega Man X Collection for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2 (PS2) in North America in 2006. The game was also released on Japanese mobile phones in 2008 and 2009 and worldwide on the Virtual Console in 2011 and 2012 for the Wii and in 2013/2014 for the Wii U.

Mega Man: The Power Battle, known in Japan as Rockman: The Power Battle (ロックマン・ザ・パワーバトル), is an arcade video game and a spin-off title for the Mega Man series. It was released in Japan in 1995 and was followed by a sequel, Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, the following year. Both games were ported to home consoles in North America in 2004 as part of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Xbox and in Japan during the same year as part of two game compilation titled Rockman: Power Battle Fighters (ロックマン パワーバトルファイターズ), also for the PlayStation 2. An adaptation of both games for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, titled Rockman: Battle & Fighters (ロックマン バトル&ファイターズ), was also made.

Mega Twins, also known as Chiki Chiki Boys (チキチキボーイズ, Chiki Chiki Bōizu) in Japan, is a side-scrolling action game released for the arcades by Capcom in 1990. It was the tenth game released for the CP System hardware.

Mega Man Battle Network 2, known as Battle Network Rockman EXE 2 (バトルネットワーク ロックマンエグゼ2 Batoru Nettowāku Rokkuman Eguze Tsū?) in Japan, is a video game developed by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld game console. It is the second game of the Mega Man Battle Network series . It was released in 2001 in Japan and 2002 in America and Europe. The story of the game starts after the events of Mega Man Network Transmission. It was released on the Wii U's Virtual Console in Japan on November 12, 2014 and in North America on January 8, 2015.

Mercs, originally released as Senjō no Ōkami II (戦場の狼Ⅱ, Wolf of the Battlefield II), is a 1990 top-down run and gun arcade game developed and published by Capcom for the arcades. It is a followup to the 1985 Commando. It was followed by Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 in 2008, a downloadable game.

Metal Slug Advance is a run and gun video game for the Game Boy Advance handheld system created by SNK Playmore in 2004, and is canon to the Metal Slug series. It is notable as the only Metal Slug video game not to feature Marco Rossi as a playable character.
